[Something different]

Kicks ass! I imagine sandpaper isn't the easiest thing to draw on. (The very thought of working without ctrl-z gives me an aneurysm to start with!)

It's just like canvas, but one that ruin your brush/tip of a marker with every stroke.
With those paint markers there is some place for corrections, you can actually wait till it's dry and just overpaint, but I feel you, that's why I never picked on watercolour.
And about the digital scar, I'm sometimes try to zoom in with gesture... on my paper sketchbook... it's akward.
