Mad Nadia vs Violent Lin (Vio. Lin)

Posted by 53xy83457 - 1 month ago

Preamble- The other day, somebody on Twitter asked to see any fighter girls. As you might know, I run one or ten fictional combat leagues so I had a few lying around. Long story short, RP actually means roleplay as opposed to repost so we got in a fight and now I feel like writing something more than pre-match banter for the second time this week (also the second time in a few... decades) so here we are.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////

A young lady, wearing a white karategi, sits alone in the middle of a dimly lit dojo, her straight black hair held back with a matching white headband. Her apparent meditation is interrupted by the sound of approaching footsteps. She opens her eyes to find a pair of beautiful blue ones staring back at her. She hops up and offers a quick bow in greeting. "Hello", she states in a soft, sweet voice with hints of a Japanese accent, "My name is Lin Yin, it's a pleasure to meet you."

Lin breaks eye contact momentarily to study her new companion's attire... or lack thereof. The black shorts, sports bra and fingerless gloves betray her fighting style. Lin was dealing with a cage fighter and a pretty tall one at that. Although, being brought up to keep herself presentable, Lin couldn't help but admire the neat bun her blonde hair was tied into.

"My name is Nadia", the MMA combatant bellows out in a friendly voice with more than hints of an Eastern European accent. "Nice to meet you too", she continues awkwardly copying Lin's bow as to avoid seeming rude. "Why the fuck are your eyes pink!?" Nadia considers to herself. "Like not albino or conjunctivitis pink, damned near neon pink!" Nadia knew to look at Lin, her opponent wouldn't be dumb enough to wear novelty Halloween contact lenses to a fight. "I'll spare you my last name", she blurts out to interrupt the almost awkward silence, "We'd be here all night" she jokes.

Lin offers a small smile from her, until now perpetually serious face, before assuming her fighting stance. "No foreplay", Nadia thinks to herself, "I like this one." She bounces on her toes a few times in lieu of a proper warmup before raising her fists. They approach each other, Nadia making the first move, launching a jab which Lin easily blocks. Lin replies with one of her own which Nadia also deflects. Still sizing her adversary up, Nadia gives a light roundhouse kick to Lin's side. Lin responds in kind once more, only reaching the taller lady's thigh.

Nadia doesn't even entertain the notion of blocking. Two moves in and this perceived mimicry game is already getting tiresome. Nadia launches a haymaker at Lin's face. In the blink of an eye, Lin sidesteps and introduces her fist to Nadia's cheek instead. It hurt... but something was off. "I was wide open, is she seriously holding back?", Nadia wonders to herself. "Alright small fry, you want to play games, let's see you copy this!" Nadia swings her leg at Lin in another roundhouse, this time aiming for her skull. Lin ducks and again mirrors the move with a jumping variation to reach the towering opponent's head.

"Got you", thinks Nadia, grabbing a helplessly airborne Lin in a bear hug. She slams them both to the ground, quickly mounting Lin before she can squirm away. Equally predictable to Nadia was how Lin quickly raises her guard to block the barrage of fists heading for her face. Nadia doesn't mind, she just feels like punching for a while. The growing agony in Lin's arms was almost too much to bear, but she knows that if one of these sledgehammer like blows makes proper contact, it's all over.

After what felt like hours for Lin, the bombardment ends with one final punch. Nadia almost seems to use the momentum to spring to her foot, its partner already raised to fall like a tonne of bricks onto Lin's gut. Lin, struggling to remember ever being hit harder, thinks back to happier times a few seconds ago when she imagined her arms were about to snap off. Regardless she keeps them up, not falling for the trap, although any attempts to roll away were halted with a subsequent stomp to the stomach.

"Feels like she has some nice strong abdominals under those fancy pyjamas", Nadia thinks to herself. "Still amazing that she can keep her guard up for this long... Oh crap, I'm daydreaming, I should stop before she pops like a grape." The crushing cavalcade continues a further few seconds than Nadia intends as she moves on to thinking about wine, vodka's supremacy to wine, and what celebratory cocktail she might get at the nearest bar later.

Eventually she snaps back to reality and wraps herself around one of Lin's now shaking arms like a hungry spider. With all her strength, she pulls the limb back into an arm bar. Lin screams, showing obvious signs of pain for the first time since the two met. The piercing sound almost makes Nadia regret the maneuver but she wasn't about to insult a fellow fighter by going easy on them, remembering how she felt about her similar suspicions from earlier.

Nadia continues the pressure. "Just give up, don't make me break it!", she shouts, starting to think she'd have to shatter both arms and a leg before this stubborn young combatant would tap out. Never in a million years would she have predicted what would actually happen next. Lin's scream turns to an angry yell as she breaks the hold and tosses Nadia across the room like a sack of potatoes.

Nadia rises to find a completely different person angrily glaring back at her. The top of Lin's formerly neatly folded gi was torn open revealing a similar black sports bra to Nadia's. Her headband was also lost in the struggle, leaving two wavy strands of hair dangling down like inverted demon horns. If Nadia didn't know better, she'd even swear her pretty pink eyes now glowed red with rage. No time to consider any of that, not to mention the fact one of her specialty submissions was broken with one arm apparently.

Lin sprints towards Nadia and unleashes a maelstrom of punches and kicks, the speed of which she had never seen before. "At least she's not holding back any mo..", a fist to Nadia's stomach, as she futilely attempts to protect her face, interrupts the thought. Nadia feels like she was just impaled on Lin's arm. "How embarrassing", she thinks, making efforts to swallow the resulting mouthful of blood and not risk spewing it into her new friend's face. Nadia slumps over, she is done.

Lin is not. She jumps on her fallen opponent's chest and unleashes a further shower of fists into her face with the veracity of a wild animal. No one in the room is in any position to count how many but eventually Lin regains her composure, the rage in her face replaced with shock and concern. Nadia's face, on the other hand, could be more closely compared to a cheeseless pizza. For a moment, Lin thinks she's actually killed her. Nadia sputters to life, "And they call me Mad Nadia." Tears well up in Lin's eyes as a mix of emotions go through her head.

"Could you get off me please, you're right on my tits!", half-jokes Nadia, attempting to make light of the situation. A giggle escapes Lin's lips along with a mouthful of blood right into her new friend's face. "Sorry", she barely whispers out as the pain in her stomach sets in and she keels over next to her. Nadia, still lying otherwise motionless raises a hand to wipe the now mixture of bloods off her face. "Black eye, broken nose, black eye, shiner above that one, teeth still in tact. I've had worse." she thinks to herself.

"I can see why you were holding back", Nadia speaks aloud to a hopefully conscious Lin, "but what was with that mirror shit at the start?", she asks casually as if talking to an old friend she's known for years as opposed to minutes. "Sorry. Advice from colleague. New tactic. Anger opponent. Make them lose focus.", Lin gasps out. "Good job", replies Nadia, her exhaustion dampening the intended amount of sarcasm.

They lie in silence for a while. Nadia still thinking of the pub, getting ready to invite her new friend despite the mangled state both their guts are already in. Lin was already thinking forward to new opponents. She heard that some of them weren't going to be as pleasant as Nadia. She wasn't worried about shady tactics or getting hurt, she was concerned that she might actually be the biggest monster in the tournament.
